Busy Bee
Weekly Newsletter #19 of 2026
I nearly didn’t have enough time today to write this newsletter up between work, taking care of my dog, taking care of myself, and spiraling about AI. But I made it! Here I am!
June is going to be full, I am taking a much needed break from vending after this run of events I have coming up:
⭐️Santa Ana Artwalk Saturday June 6th 5pm-10pm off Sycamore and 2nd
⭐️Lopez Urban Farm Art Festival Saturday June 13th 2pm-6pm 1034 W. Mission Blvd. Pomona, CA
⭐️Bubble Up Dog Wash Pop-Up Pet Portrait Market Sunday June 14th 12pm-4pm 310 W. 3rd St. Santa Ana, CA
⭐️Zine Fiesta Saturday June 27th from 1pm-5pm at South Gate Museum 8680 California Ave South Gate, CA
I’ve also been working on a lot of things at my job, mainly our Summer Camp, which has me thinking: should we do another Zine Camp this year??! Sound off in the comments if you would like to see the return of the annual Zine Camp. I already have some ideas brewing!
June’s Mail Club goodies will be sent out soon, and it’s entirely inspired by my trip to the Mojave. I’m like that person that takes a semester abroad and comes back speaking with an accent and can’t stop talking about their time abroad, sorry. But not sorry. I just really loved my trip and was inspired by it! I have hand painted road runner paintings, there are stickers of a cool cactus, a roadrunner, and a scorpion lollipop, and there will be two zines: a travelogue one and one about aliens. 👽 There is still time to sign up before the end of the month to get yours!
I was also inspired by what I was up to this last week of May for the July Mail Club goodies! I went to the LA County Fair and I’m dedicating the July Mail Club to all things county fair. It will be really cute and fun.
I’m very excited for this Summer, we had a little Memorial Day Weekend Summer Kick-off Kickback at a local park with our friends, and it was so nice. It’s the exact vibe I want to have this Summer: being outside, playing games, eating grilled foods, hanging out with friends, and feeding ducks and geese. I’m trying to go back to my childhood Summer feelings, spending less time on my phone and more time outside in the grass, even though I’m allergic to it. Ain’t that just the way.
Some exciting fun things are coming down the line this Summer, stay tuned!
