Rainy Daze
Feat. A Comic About Peg's Favorite Pastime
Well, Biggest Little Zine Fair got cancelled due to the rain, so unfortunately I don’t have a recap of that for you this week! I did have a great little rainy weekend, though, I enjoyed having a full weekend where I was able to actually enjoy my time off, rather than having to work. I needed it. I used my time to decorate my apartment for the holidays with my boyfriend, and we cozied up and watched movies and made cocoa and cookies. It was honestly perfect.
I have a couple of weeks before my next vending events, which will be my last of the year: Fullerton Art Walk on Friday December 5th, and Patchwork Makers Market on Saturday December 6th in Santa Ana. Hope to see folks there!
I am loving the cold and the rain, however Peg is not enjoying being more cooped up. I try to keep her occupied, mainly by playing with her mouse toy:
This is based on a true story. I watched Peg try to jump after her toy, freeze in midair, and completely flop on her back on the ground. It was horrible. But she was (and remains) perfectly fine. Scared the bejeezus out of me though. That dog is insane. I love her.
Some more exciting news: with my free time I was able to reopen my SHOP! You can now purchase zines from ye olde shoppe: etsy.com/shop/miqueladavis. And to thank you for being supporters of my work, there is a 15% discount code you can use: COOL15
I’ve been working on some ideas and plans for Mail Club zines for 2026 too, so I’m very excited about what’s to come, and to share with you as I make more fun things!
Until next week, I hope you stay cozy and dry wherever you may be reading this from.

My mom’s mini dachshund is *obsessed* with chasing a laser. In her younger days (she’s ~12 now) she would sit in the living room every night practically vibrating with tense anticipation hoping someone would take the laser out and play with her.
My dog is also insane. She also has wild preferences like will only drink her water if there’s ice in it, dogs are the best.
